- Quinn, Maggie and Jayson were running through the forest. The sounds of grunting could be heard coming from behind them. "Wonderful, we had to land on Sasquatch world!" Maggie said. "It could be worse Maggie. We could have landed on a world where you were actually a nice, caring woman," Jayson replied. "You know, Garrick, you had your chance to go home, why didn't you take it?" "And miss your smiling face, 'Maggs'? Like I'm going to leave you and Quinn to slide alone through the multiverse. Uh-uh." "Jealous?" Maggie replied. "You wish. Some guys may be attracted to a pretty face and some silicon but I'm not one of them." The grunting sounds grew closer. "Will you two stop it! Once I make this last adjustment, we'll be able to track Wade and Remmy's photon trail and slide back to Earth Prime." "You've been saying that for three months and ten different worlds. I don't care about your home world - just get us off of this one." "Typical, I bet you never want Quinn to get home," Jayson said. Maggie glared at Jayson. She wished he would have dove into the wormhole with Rembrandt and Wade, but as Quinn tried to shove him in, he had punched Quinn out. Five half-man, half-ape looking creatures descended from the trees. "3 . .2 . .1.." Quinn opened the vortex and the three sliders jumped in before the Sasquatches could attack.

- Quinn, Maggie and Jayson were thrown from the wormhole. Quinn looked at the timer and spoke, "This is where they landed. We must be back on Earth Prime." "It looks a lot worse for wear," Jayson said. He looked around, everything was dark, there was rubble everywhere. He heard Maggie's voice. "Quinn, you forget, I still can't breathe on your world." As much as Jayson hated Maggie he spoke, "We'd better get her to a hospital." Quinn picked Maggie up as she began to gasp for air and took off in a sprint for the nearest hospital.

- Quinn was running with Maggie in his arms. Jayson was only a few feet behind him. Maggie spoke, "Although I really like this, it's okay Quinn. I can breathe again. You can put me down." Maggie stood up and spoke, "Yeah, I can breathe, no problem." "Amazing, your lungs must have adapted from all of the slides to process our air." "That's my genius," Maggie said. "*Ahem* Guys don't you think we should go to the Chandellor, see if we can't hook up with Wade and Remmy? I mean if you're sure this is Earth Prime. You know, because at first glance it doesn't look like it." Quinn looked around and spoke, 'You're right, but this is where their photon trail led." A loud humming noise was heard. Jayson looked up to the sky and spoke, "Quinn, look!" Quinn Mallory raised his eyes skyward and saw his worst fear, a Kromagg manta ship. "The Kromaggs are here," Quinn said. "We have to get to the Chandellor and find out if Remmy and Wade are here."

- The three sliders made their way into the Chandellor. The hotel was ransacked. They walked into the bar and immediately heard someone pump a gun. They turned around to see five people with guns pointed straight at them. Quinn spoke, "Easy, we're looking for some friends." 'Yeah, a black guy and a whiny girl who looks kind of like a little boy," Maggie added. "Shut the hell up!" Jayson screamed. The woman in the center spoke, "Let me guess, Quinn Mallory, Jayson Garrick and Maggie Beckett." "Good job, care to tell us how you know that?" Maggie asked. The woman spoke, "Wade was right. You are a bitch, Maggie." "Why you!" Maggie screamed. Quinn heard the others pump their guns and pulled Maggie back. "Easy Maggie, she knows Wade and Remmy." "That doesn't make her a friend in my book." "I haven't shot you yet, consider that my peace offering. My name's Marta. Welcome to the resistance."

- Jayson was pacing back and forth in the basement of the Chandellor. It served as the headquarters for the human resistance against the Kromagg invasion. Marta began to speak, "Wade and Rembrandt showed up here about three months ago. She took a job as a waitress and Rembrandt sang in the bar at night." "Why didn't they go back to San Francisco? That was home," Jayson asked. Marta replied, "They never really said. All Wade ever said was that they were waiting for some friends. When the Kromaggs invaded about a month ago she came clean on your story. That's how I knew who you were." "Where are they now?" Quinn asked. Marta spoke, "They were captured in a raid last week. Rembrandt is in a work camp. Wade's set to be shipped out on a transport ship to another camp on Earth 113." "When is Wade set to be shipped out?" Jayson asked. "Later today," Marta replied. "We have to get them out of there," Jayson said. "The best I can do is give you a layout of the compound. We know where Rembrandt is. Wade on the other hand might be a problem. If she's set to be transported off world there's no telling where they have her." "Then we try to get Remmy out," Maggie said. "And what about Wade?" Jayson said. "We'll get her out if we can," Quinn replied. Jayson didn't like the sound of that.

- Quinn, Maggie and Jayson had snuck into the Kromagg compound using an abandoned ventilator shaft. The three sliders looked at the layout. Rembrandt's cell was only a few doors down the hall. The sliders heard a noise. They backed into a corridor and waited. A Kromagg came around the corner. It looked exactly the same as Quinn and Jayson remembered. Maggie jumped the Kromagg and stole its pass card and gun. "You always have to have the biggest gun, don't you Maggs?" "Now is not the time, Garrick," Maggie replied. "Come on you two, the coast is clear," Quinn said. They made their way to the cell. Maggie slipped the pass card into the lock and the door opened. "Keep a watch Maggie, we'll get Remmy," Quinn said. Quinn and Jayson walked into Remmy's cell. He was asleep on a cot. Quinn shook him a little and spoke, "Remmy, c'mon, it's Quinn. We're here to get you out of here." Rembrandt's eyes shot open and he spoke, "Get away from me you Magg! Stop playing with my mind!" Quinn was a little startled. Jayson spoke, "Cryin' Man. It's Jay. That's Q-Ball. We're here to get you out of here. Now come on and snap out of it, we still have to find Wade." Remmy looked around and spoke, "Guys? Is it really you?" "It's us Remmy," Quinn replied. Maggie stuck her head in the door as alarms began to blare. "We'd better get out of here. They're on to us." Jayson replied, "What about Wade?" Quinn spoke, "We'll come back for her." Jayson glared at Quinn as the four sliders began to run. - They had reached the secret entrance to an underground tunnel. Rembrandt and Maggie crawled into the tunnel and began crawling away. Quinn and Jayson looked up and saw the Kromaggs coming down the staircase. "Go," Quinn said. "I'm not leaving you and Wade here." "Damn it Jayson, save yourself!" Quinn shoved Jayson into the tunnel and shut the secret entrance. The Kromaggs closed in on Quinn and he spoke, "I surrender."

- Quinn found himself in a cell with other prisoners. He heard his name, "Quinn?!" He turned to see his mother. "Mom? They've got you too." His mother hugged his neck and spoke, "It's so good to see you, but you've come back at a horrible time." "But at least I finally made it back." His mother was silent. "There's something I have to tell you Quinn. I don't have much time. You're not my son." "What?" "You were brought to your father and me years ago as a baby. We promised to look after you until they came back for you, but in that time we grew to love you. When they came back for you we hid you, told them you had died." "Mom, you're not making any sense. This is too weird." She sliced a slit in her arm and pulled out a small round device. "Take this. When you're in private, place this to your forehead and it will explain everything. Always remember that I loved you son." Two Kromaggs came into the cell and dragged her away. Quinn could only stare at the device his mother had handed him.

- Back at the Chandellor. "We have to get him back!" Maggie screamed. "Don't forget about Wade," Jayson said. "Maggie's right, Q-Ball is probably the only one who can figure out a way to beat the Kromaggs. We have to get him out," Rembrandt said. "We'll help you. If we attack the compound, their attention will be turned towards us and not on the three of you," Marta replied. "And we can slip in and get Quinn and Wade out," Jayson said.

- The alarms in the compound were blaring. The human resistance was putting up a hell of a fight at their front door. Maggie and Remmy had slipped down to the holding cell were Quinn was being held. They opened the cell door and let the prisoners go free. Quinn spoke, "Where's Jayson?' "He's looking for Wade," Rembrandt said. "C'mon, we've got to go. The Maggs will be here any second," Maggie replied. The three sliders began to make their way out of the compound, never realizing where their fourth member was.

- Jayson had finally made it to the transport bay. He saw the ship being loaded with the last few prisoners. He saw Wade being loaded into the transport. Her face was tear-stained, she had assumed Quinn would come to her rescue, but he didn't. His mind was elsewhere and Jayson had begun to hate him for that. There were seven guards around the transport ship and Jayson assumed there were more inside, he began to make a move, but it was too late. The reddish vortex opened and the ship was pulled in. He hadn't been able to save her and all he could do was cry.

-The resistance had retreated back to the Chandellor. Casualties had been light and they had sent a message to the Maggs. Quinn had gone into one of the back rooms and pressed the device his mother had given him to his forehead. Immediately he saw a man and a woman dressed in all white. The man began to speak, "Hello Quinn, I am your father. When you were just a baby, our world was at war with another Earth, an Earth inhabited by a race of vicious conquerors known as the Kromaggs. To preserve your safety and that of your brother we sent both of you to different worlds, entrusted to the care of our doubles. If you are hearing this message it means your mother and I did not survive the war. This microdot includes the coordinates to the world your brother is on. You must find him. He alone may hold the key to defeating the Kromagg Dynasty forever. Good luck, my son." Quinn rose up off of the bed and ran into the main room. He looked at Maggie, Rembrandt and Jayson and spoke, "You guys are not going to believe this!"

- Later, after Quinn had revealed his story. "That is the biggest load of crap I've ever heard, Quinn. You just so happen to run into your mother in a Kromagg prison, which is in LA, mind you, whereas she lives in San Francisco. And she tells you that you're not her son and gives you this device which explains you're from a parallel universe and you have to find your brother because he can destroy the Kromagg Empire?" "It's plausible," Maggie said. "I know it sounds strange guys, but it's the truth, I can feel it." Jayson spoke, "What about Wade, do we leave her to rot in that prison camp?" "As soon as we find my brother we'll rescue Wade," Quinn replied. "That's not good enough!" Jayson screamed, "I refuse to let her suffer in that camp any longer than she has to. If you'd been willing to take the chance before, but you weren't. Your bitch over there has you so brainwashed you don't give a damn about Wade!" "Watch your mouth, Garrick, Quinn is still the leader around here." "Go to hell, Beckett!" Jayson stormed out of the room and headed to see Marta.

- "Have there been any other transports in or out in the last few hours?" Jayson asked. "No, the next transport out isn't scheduled for another two weeks." Marta replied. "Good. I need a favor, Marta."

- Quinn had left the timer sitting on the work bench. He'd been trying to input his brother's coordinates into it, but it wasn't working. He walked into the kitchen for a snack and when he, Maggie and Remmy returned they saw Jayson grabbing the timer. "What are you doing, Garrick?" Maggie asked. "What's right," Jayson replied. Quinn walked up to Jayson and spoke, "Give me the timer." "Okay," Jayson replied. He acted like he was going to give Quinn the timer but instead laid him out with one punch. "I'm really starting to like that." Maggie started to move towards him but she heard the click of a gun, "Don't move or I'll splatter your brains," Marta said, "Now go Jayson, go!" Jayson ran outside of the hotel into an alley,he heard footsteps behind him. He turned around and it was Rembrandt. "Did you come to stop me?" Jayson asked. "Why are you doing this?" Rembrandt replied. "She's expecting Quinn to save her, but he's not going to. You haven't been with those two the last three months. He's so far up her ass he couldn't care less about anyone else. Wade loves him and he doesn't care!" "Is that it?" Rembrandt asked. "I love her, Remmy. I won't let her suffer. I'll get her out of there. Besides we both know Quinn can build a new timer out of some chewing gum and a VCR remote." "Good luck Jay, and give her my love." Jayson pressed the button to track the last wormhole that had left this earth, opened the vortex and spoke, "Thank you, Remmy." With those words he jumped into the vortex and it slowly collapsed.

- Remmy walked into the Chandellor. Maggie was cradling Quinn's head. Quinn spoke, "Did you get it?" Rembrandt replied, "No, he outran me, by the time I caught up, the wormhole had closed." "Good thing I kept this, then." Quinn pulled out Rickman's timer. He popped open the back, fiddled with a few wires and spoke, "It's ready to roll. Next stop my brother's world." Quinn opened the reddish vortex and he and Maggie jumped in. Rembrandt could only think of what Jayson had told him. He knew he was right. But somebody had to watch out for Q-Ball. Rembrandt jumped into the wormhole and it collapsed.
