-The swirling green vortex opened and four figures were thrown from it.  Rembrandt Brown was the first to arise from the ground.  He brushed himself off and spoke, "How long are we here QBa- . . .Quinn."  He stopped himself.  This Quinn wasn't the same one he had slid with for five years.  He was a double, a double who along with a double of Bennish had offered their help in finding Earth Prime.  It just didn't feel right calling him QBall.  Alt-Quinn lifted his timer and spoke, "Mr. Brown, you know my timer doesn't work like that."  Remmy nodded, "Sorry.  I'm so use to the whole "window" idea that it's kind of hard to break the habit of asking.  And Quinn, please stop calling me Mr. Brown."  "Sorry, Rembrandt. you would think after two months I would have broken that habit."  Max Arturo spoke, "Well, my good men.  Do we have any leads on young Miss Mallory's whereabouts?"  Alt-Quinn lifted his timer and spoke, "No.  I can generate another gateway in about two hours, let's get something to eat."  Remmy and Arturo let Alt-Quinn and Alt Bennish walk ahead of them.  Rembrandt turned to Arturo and spoke, "How do you think Wade's holding up?"  Arturo replied, "She's fine , Rembrandt."  "I know, I just worry about her."  "As do I. As do I."

"Dear Diary"

-I don't know where to begin.  The last year has been such a blur.  It's hard to believe that seven months ago, I married Quinn.  Only to be kidnapped by the Draconians  and held prisoner for two months.  If not for Nimbus, Remmy, the Professor and me would still be in that cell.  I wonder if he ever escaped?  We offered to bring him along, but he said he had another way.  Of course, we escape, and my suspicions are confirmed.  I'm pregnant.  And I can't get home to Quinn.  I want him to be by my side so badly, but there's no way to find home.   In a few months I'll give birth to his child and it will be on some parallel Earth far away from him.  It's all I can do to stand it.  I have faith in Remmy and the Professor, but part of me doesn't believe I'll ever see Quinn or home again.

-It's funny.  Here I sit, in a guest room in the Mallory home, but it's Quinn and Daelin Mallory's home.  On this world, I died along with my sister in a car accident.  This Quinn was heartbroken.  If not for the intervention of his sister, Autumn, he might have never survived.  She made it a point to find Daelin and bring her back to help Quinn.  The two fell in love and got married.  Autumn was living with them, when she took her Quinn's timer and became lost in the multiverse.  Her brother and the bennish of this world are searching for her still.  That's where Remmy and Arturo are.  The four made an agreement.  They help each other.  They have two goals.  Find Earth Prime and find Autumn.  Meanwhile, I'm staying with that Quinn's wife, Daelin.  I still can't forget the first time we met.  Alt-Quinn called her down to the basement and introduced us to her.  She nearly fainted when she saw me.  The shock was unexpected.  After a few hours she accepted who I was.  It was then her husband sprang upon her what he needed.  She was more than happy to agree to let me stay here.  She takes care of me.  It makes me think, when I get back home . . .if I get back home . . .that I should look up our worlds Daelin.  We'd probably get along wonderfully.

-Since I'm suppose to be dead on this world, I've taken up an assumed identity.  With my wonderful computer skills it wasn't hard to forge the info I needed.  I'm going by the name of Maggie Brown.  Maggie in honor of the Maggie Beckett I became friends with back in the Magg breeder camp and Brown after Remmy.  I've also taken to wearing a pair of glasses whenever I go out.  I never, ever thought that would work . . . but it does.  I walked right in front of my  . . this worlds version of   . . my parents and they never even flinched . . . . .it was very strange, but I was glad.  I didn't want them to see me and if it could have been avoided I would have.

-Daelin even recommended a good Doctor here.  According to her, my pregnancy is fine and the child will be healthy.  She asked me if I wanted to know if it was going to be a boy or a girl.  I turned her down.  I'd rather be surprised.  And I think Quinn would want to be surprised too.  I hope the others find their way home or at least Quinn comes looking for us.  In my heart I know he wouldn't stop until he found me, but the sheer number of alternate earths . .it could be years before I see him again . . .but I have to keep the faith.

-Wade sat her diary down.  Small tears were trickling down her face.  Daelin entered the room and spoke, "Dinner's almost ready."  Wade wiped the tears away and spoke, "I'll be their in a minute."  Daelin spoke, "It will be okay, Wade.  They'll find him."  Wade smiled at Daelin as she left the room.  Wade looked out the window and the setting sun and spoke, "I love you Quinn.  I always will."

-Quinn Mallory stared out the window of the Dominion hotel.  It had been two months since the run in with the Draconians and his state of mind had only deteriorated since.  He knew Dragonius had been lying.  His friends weren't dead.  He just knew,  but till his mid was wracked with guilt and pain.  Autumn and the others were becoming  less and less tolerant of his behavior.  If only he could find Wade and the others. . . .if only . . . .  He looked at the setting sun and spoke, "I love you Wade.  I'll find you . . .I promise.
